Distributor: Hans Im Glück
Category: Strategy game
Players: 2-4 (The game is becoming slightly different depending on the number of players, but it works well anyway. When you are two, it's easier to play more destructive, then when you are more players.)
Play time: 00:45
Ages: 10+
Content: 39 Figures - 13 each: High Helmets, Buddhas and Rice Fields.
80 Tokens - 20 each in 4 colours
4 Japanese screens (to hide the tokens behind)
1 spelbräde (Japan i 4 delar, beroende på hur många deltagarna är)
  1 regelhäfte på tyska
Game target: To get the most point through a slightly odd counting. which requires that you both get most caught figures on one kind and totally most of the other tokens. You take a figures by having most "influence" over it, when the figure(s) are surrounded on land. The game finishes as soon all figures of one kind is taken away from the board, alternatively when 4 figures has been neutralized, because the influence has been a draw.
Rules: In English  (from Chris Lawson's Web Pages who also has a good FAQ)
Strategy: -
Comments: Edition from 1998. Design by Reiner Knizia. Unusually easy to start for a game with such depth. I see no reason to hide the captured figures behind the screen. It just gives an advantage to the person with the best memory, without adding anything to the game.
